Once upon a time, deep in the middle of the jungle, the sun was waking up. *Peek-a-boo! * The yellow sun smiled down on the big green leaves. In a cozy hollow tree, lived Timmy the Tiger.
Timmy had bright orange fur and black stripes. He was a very cute tiger, but today, Timmy had a problem. His tummy was making a funny sound. *Rumble, rumble, grumble!
* Timmy was hungry! He ran to the kitchen. The kitchen was full of yummy smells. *Sniff, sniff, sniff.
* Mama Tiger was there. She was stirring a big pot. *Swish, swirl, bubble! * 'Good morning, my little tiger,' said Mama Tiger with a big smile.
'Are you ready for breakfast? ' Timmy nodded his head fast. 'Yes! I am hungry!
' Timmy loved breakfast. Usually, Mama Tiger gave him sausages or fish. Yum! But today, Mama Tiger put something different on his leaf plate.
It was green. It was bumpy. It looked like a tiny tree. Can you guess what it was?
It was broccoli! Timmy looked at the green food. He wrinkled his nose. *Wrinkle, wrinkle.
* He shook his head. *No, no, no! * 'I do not want this,' said Timmy. 'It is green.
It is not my favorite. ' Mama Tiger laughed softly. 'Oh, Timmy,' she said. 'These are Magic Jungle Trees.
They make your stripes shiny and your paws super strong. ' Timmy looked at his paws. He wanted to be strong. But he was still scared.
'What if it tastes like yucky mud? ' he whispered. 'It won't,' said Mama Tiger. 'Just try one bite.
One little bite. ' Timmy looked at the broccoli. It looked at him. He took a tiny step back.
*Step, step. * 'I can't do it,' said Timmy. 'Please try,' said Mama Tiger gently. 'One more bite.
Just one more bite for Mama? ' Timmy took a deep breath. *In and out. * He opened his mouth wide.
*Aaaah! * Mama put the tiny green tree on his tongue. Timmy closed his mouth. He waited.
He chewed slowly. *Crunch, crunch, crunch. * Suddenly, Timmy’s eyes went wide.
*Pop! * His ears went up. *Twitch, twitch. * It was not yucky.
It was crunchy! It was a little bit sweet! Timmy smiled a big, happy smile. 'It is yummy!
' shouted Timmy. 'It is a Magic Jungle Tree! ' Timmy took another bite. *Crunch!
* Then another bite. *Munch, munch, munch. * He ate all the green trees on his plate. *Gulp!
* Suddenly, Timmy felt a funny feeling in his toes. *Wiggle, wiggle. * Then he felt it in his tail.
*Swish, swish! * 'Roar! ' went Timmy. But it wasn't a scary roar.
It was a happy roar! 'Look at me, Mama! ' Timmy jumped high in the air. *Boing!
* He landed on his soft paws. He ran around the kitchen table. *Zoom, zoom! * 'The magic is working!
' said Timmy. 'I feel so strong! ' Mama Tiger gave him a warm, fuzzy hug. 'See?
' she said. 'Trying new things can be fun. Now you have energy to play all day. ' Timmy nuzzled his mama’s fur.
'Thank you for the Magic Trees,' he purred. 'Can I have one more bite? ' 'Of course, my love,' said Mama Tiger. And so, Timmy the Tiger learned that green things are not scary.
They are just magic waiting to be eaten! The jungle birds sang a happy song. *Tweet, tweet, tweet! * Timmy finished his breakfast and ran out to play.
He was ready for a big adventure. What a happy, hungry tiger!
