Once upon a time, there was a shiny silver spaceship. It went Zoom! Zoom! Zoom!
through the dark sky. Inside the spaceship were six best friends. Their names were Leo, Mia, Sam, Tia, Ben, and Zoe. They were a team of space explorers.
They were going to find a new home. They were going to Planet B. Are you ready to fly with them? Whoosh!
The spaceship landed softly on the purple grass. It went Bump! The door opened slowly. The friends stepped out.
Wow! Planet B was very beautiful. The sky was bright pink. The trees were blue and sparkled like diamonds.
The air smelled like sweet candy. It was magical. Leo looked around. He smiled big.
'This is a good place,'Leo said. Mia clapped her hands. 'Let's build our house! 'she said cheerfully.
The friends had a big job. They had to build a tall tower to sleep in. They had big metal blocks to stack up. The blocks were heavy.
Clank! Clank! went the blocks. Leo tried to lift the first block.
He pulled and pulled. 'Ugh! 'said Leo. 'It is too heavy for just me.
'Mia tried next. She pushed with her hands. 'Oof! 'said Mia.
'I cannot move it alone. 'Sam tried. Then Tia tried.
Then Ben tried. They all tried by themselves. But the blocks were too big. They felt sad.
'What will we do? 'asked Zoe softly. 'We cannot build our house. 'Suddenly, Sam had a good idea.
His eyes got wide. 'I know! 'Sam said. 'We must do it together.
We are a team! 'Everyone looked at Sam. Then everyone looked at each other.
'Yes! 'they all shouted. 'Together! 'Leo stood on one side.
Mia stood on the other. Sam, Tia, Ben, and Zoe stood in the middle. They put their hands on the big, heavy block. They squeezed in close.
'On your mark,'said Leo. 'Get set,'said Mia. 'LIFT! 'everyone shouted together.
Heave! Ho! Heave! Ho!
The block moved up. It went Up! Up! Up!
'It is working! 'giggled Tia. They put the first block down. Thump!
Then they ran to the next block. Can you guess what they did next? They grabbed the next block.
They squeezed in close. 'On your mark,'said Leo. 'Get set,'said Mia. 'LIFT!
'everyone shouted. Heave! Ho! Heave!
Ho! Up went the block. They worked all afternoon. Zoom!
went their hands. Zap! went their feet. Every time they worked together, the blocks got lighter.
They built the walls. They built the floor. Then came the last piece.
It was the roof. It was the biggest piece of all. A blue wind blew. Whoooosh!
The roof almost flew away. 'Hold on! 'yelled Ben. 'Don't let go!
'yelled Zoe. All six friends held the roof tight. They were not scared because they were together. 'One, two, three...
PUSH! 'they yelled. They lifted the roof high up. They set it on top.
Click! The tower was finished. It was tall and strong. It glowed in the pink sky.
The friends were so happy. They did a silly dance. They wiggled their hips. They shook their hands.
'We did it! 'said Leo. 'We did it together,'said Zoe. The sun went down on Planet B.
The stars came out. Twinkle! Twinkle! The six friends sat inside their new tower.
They ate some space cookies. Crunch! Crunch! They were yummy.
They looked out the window at the blue trees. They felt warm and safe. They knew that as long as they were friends, they could do anything. Teamwork is the best magic of all.
