Flutter! Sky's cape was blue. Splash! River's cape was sparkly green.
First, they found trash hiding in the grass. "Yucky! "said Clay, holding his nose. "This doesn't belong here!
"Together they picked up every piece. Clink! went the cans. Crinkle!
went the papers. Soon the grass could breathe again. But the pond still looked sick. "Look!
"cried Sky. "There's brown stuff floating. We need clean water! "River had an idea.
"Let's make a tiny boat! We can scoop out the yucky stuff! "They worked as a team. Sage found a big leaf.
Clay found tiny sticks. Sky found spider silk to tie it. River found a bottle cap for a scoop. "Push together!
"said Sage. "One, two, three... push! "Splash!
Splash! Splash! Their little boat worked! It scooped out brown bits while they sang:"Clean the pond, make it bright, help our friends feel light!
"Can you sing with them? The flowers still looked sad. Their petals were droopy and brown. "We need magic water!
"said Sky. "But how? "wondered Clay. "The hose is too big for us!
"Sage twitched his ears. "Let's ask the rain clouds! Maybe they'll help! "The friends looked up at the sky.
"Please, clouds! We need tiny raindrops for our thirsty friends! "The clouds giggled. "Pitter-patter, we'll help!
But you must all work together! "Whoosh! Soft rain came down. Not too much.
Just right! The friends danced in the rain. Splash! went River.
