Once upon a time, the moon was big and yellow. Ratnesh and Ahmed were best friends. They were tucked in their beds. Snore, snore went their noses.
But then, whoosh! A fluffy cloud floated down through the window. The cloud was soft like cotton candy. Hop on!
said the cloud. Ratnesh and Ahmed climbed on the cloud. It felt like a warm hug. The cloud flew up, up, up into the sky.
Zoom! They were in Dreamland. The sky was purple. The stars were twinkling like little nightlights.
Hello stars! said Ahmed. Hello moon! said Ratnesh.
The moon smiled back. Look! said Ratnesh. A river made of sparkling blue juice flowed below.
Splash! Splash! went the juice. Can you guess what happened next?
A giant cookie boat appeared! It smelled like vanilla and sugar. Yummy! Let's sail!
said Ahmed. They floated on the cookie boat. They saw jellyfish made of pink jello. Wiggle, wiggle went the jellyfish.
They saw fish made of orange cheese. Swim, swim went the fish. Ratnesh felt happy. Ahmed felt safe.
Suddenly, the sky turned a little dark. Oh no! said Ratnesh. Ahmed held Ratnesh's hand.
Do not be scared, said Ahmed. We are together. A big friendly whale made of clouds swam by. The whale blew bubbles.
Pop, pop, pop! The bubbles glowed with light. The dark sky went away. It was bright again.
Hooray! shouted the friends. They sailed until they felt sleepy again. The cloud took them home.
Down, down, down. Whoosh! They landed softly in their beds. Goodnight, Dreamland.
Goodnight, friends. They closed their eyes and smiled.
