Once upon a time, four happy cousins gathered together. Their names were Zara, Milo, Toby, and Lena. They loved visiting their Grandma. Her house was always warm and cozy.
One bright afternoon, Grandma called them to the living room. She held a giant, glowing box. It sparkled in the light. Today, I give you your inheritance, Grandma announced.
Zara’s eyes went wide. Inheritance? It is a special treasure passed down with love, Grandma said softly. Can you guess what it is?
The cousins looked at the box. It hummed a little tune. Hum, hum, hum. Milo shook the box gently.
Rattle, rattle! Maybe it is toy cars! he guessed. Toby tapped the box.
Tap, tap! Maybe it is a puppy! he hoped. Lena sniffed the air.
It smells sweet, she said. Open it together, Grandma said with a smile. The four cousins held the lid. They lifted it up high.
Whoosh! Out flew a hundred shiny balloons. Bounce, bounce! They filled the room.
Then, streamers of gold and silver swirled around them. Swish, swish! At the bottom of the box, they found a big cake. It smelled like strawberries and sunshine.
The inheritance is a celebration! cheered Zara. Yes, said Grandma. Happiness is the greatest gift of all.
They put on party hats and ate the cake. Yum, yum! They danced and laughed. They felt warm and safe.
It was a wonderful day to be together.
