Let’s find a big mission together!" They both said,"We are super friends!" Suddenly, they heard a tiny voice crying."Help! Help!" It came from the Happy Valley where all the animals lived. Superman flew fast."Zoom, zoom, zoom!" Batman ran quick."Run, run, run!" They found a baby bunny stuck in a big puddle.
The bunny’s fur was wet and sad."I’m stuck! I’m scared!" cried the bunny.
Superman knelt down."Don’t worry, little buddy. I will help you!" Batman knelt too."We will do it together!" Superman used his super strong arms. He lifted the bunny high, high, HIGH! Batman held a soft towel."Wrap, wrap, wrap!" They wrapped the bunny in warm, cozy warmth. The bunny giggled."Thank you, Super Friends!" But then - oh no! - the puddle grew BIGGER! Splash! Splash!
Rain began to fall. All the animals ran to hide. Superman looked worried. Batman looked worried too."We need to stop the rain! ” said Superman. “But how? ” Batman tapped his chin.
“Let’s use our super brains together! ” They stood side by side. They thought and thought. Superman had an idea.
“I can fly up and spin the clouds! ” Batman clapped. “I can build a super umbrella! ” Up, up, up went Superman.
“Spin, spin, SPIN! ” The clouds twirled like cotton candy. Down, down, down came Batman. He built a giant umbrella with wheels.
“Click, click, click! ” The animals came out. They cheered, “Hooray! ” The rain stopped.
The sun peeked out. A big rainbow stretched across the sky. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple - so pretty! The baby bunny hopped to Superman and Batman.
“You saved us! You are the best super friends ever! ” Superman gave a high-five. “We did it together!
” Batman gave a high-five too. “Teamwork makes super dreams! ” All the animals danced in a circle. They sang, “Super friends!
Super friends! Helpful to the end! ” Superman laughed. Batman laughed.
They felt warm inside, like hot cocoa. Superman said, “Friends make everything better. ” Batman nodded. “Even super heroes need friends!
” The bunny hugged their legs. “Will you come back? ” Superman and Batman both said, “Yes! We will always come back for our friends!
” Then they flew and drove away, waving goodbye. “Bye-bye, bunny! Bye-bye, friends! ” The sky smiled.
The valley sparkled. And every time the animals saw a red cape or a black car, they smiled and said, “Our super friends are here! ” Superman and Batman looked at each other. They knew the secret: friendship is the best super power of all.
