Scene 1: Once's moment

Once upon a time, in a snowy land of white and blue, little Sienna put on her red hat and red mittens."I want to paint the sky!" she said. Erik, the kind Sami guide with a fluffy reindeer coat, smiled."Tonight we chase the northern lights. They love to play hide-and-seek!" "Whoosh!" went their sled as six happy reindeer ran across the glittery snow.

Sienna giggled."Will the lights be green? Purple? Rainbow?" Erik laughed."The lights pick their own colors. We must be creative and help them shine bright!" The sled stopped on a quiet hill.

Snowflakes went "Swish-swish!" around their boots. The sky was dark like blueberry juice."Where are the lights?" Sienna asked. She felt a tiny bit worried. Erik tapped his drum."Boom-boom!" He sang softly,"Lights so shy, lights so bright, come and dance with us tonight!" Nothing happened. The sky stayed dark. Sienna had an idea.

She took out her little paint box."If the lights won’t come, maybe I can paint them!" She dipped her brush in green paint. Swish!

She painted a green swirl in the air. Whoosh! It stayed like magic! Next she painted purple sparkles."Twinkle-twinkle!" they sang. Then orange dots, then blue ribbons.

Soon the sky had Sienna’s glowing shapes, but still no real lights."They are still hiding," Erik said."Let’s try something new." Sienna and Erik built a tiny snow stage.

They made snow bunnies, snow bears, and a snow reindeer. Sienna put her red hat on the snow reindeer."Let’s tell a story!" she said.

Erik started,"Once upon a time, the northern lights felt shy…" Senna added,"So they hid behind the moon!" Erik said,"But one little light peeked out to watch the story." Suddenly - "Shimmer-shimmer!" - a tiny green light peeked over the hill. Then another. Then a whole ribbon of green!

Sienna clapped her mittens."They like our story!" More lights came. Purple giggles, pink chuckles, and blue hoorays!

The lights danced in circles and made swishy shapes. They spelled "HELLO, SIENNA!" "Can you guess what happened next?" Erik asked. Sienna shook her head, eyes wide. The lights swooped down and gently lifted Sienna’s paintbrush. Together, real lights and pretend paint made the biggest, brightest sky painting ever!

There were green dolphins, purple hearts, and a huge orange reindeer wearing Sienna’s red hat."We did it!" Sienna laughed."Creativity makes friends with magic!" A soft gold light shaped like Erik’s drum floated next to them. Boom-boom! It beat like a heartbeat. All the lights danced faster - zip-zap-zoom!

Then the lights made one last picture: a smiling Sienna and Erik holding hands under a rainbow sky. The picture sparkled and floated down like soft glitter."Time to go home," Erik whispered. The reindeer gave happy snorts.

Their sled bells went "Jingle-jangle!" all the way back to the cozy tent. As Sienna sipped warm cocoa, she looked out the window. The northern lights waved goodbye like gentle friends."Will they come again?" she asked. Erik smiled."Whenever you paint or tell stories, the lights will remember you.

Creativity is the key to every magic door." Sienna yawned."Next time, I’ll bring my crayons too!" Outside, the sky twinkled softly one last time. Shhh… The snow fell like tiny feathers. The magic night was over, but the colors lived in Sienna’s heart forever. And do you know what?

Every time you draw or paint or make up a tale, the northern lights giggle a little brighter. They are still playing hide-and-seek with all the creative children in the world.
