Once upon a time, in a house with a bright red door, lived two best friends. Their names were Shibl and Faisl. Shibl wore a blue cape. Zoom!
It flew behind him when he ran. Faisl wore a green mask. Peek-a-boo! It covered his eyes but he could still see.
They were not just friends. They were the Super Honesty Heroes! Their mission was to tell the truth, always. Can you say'Super Honesty Heroes'?
Try it! It is fun to say. One sunny morning, the sun was smiling in the sky. The birds were singing.
Tweet tweet! Shibl and Faisl were playing inside. They were playing the Super Flying Game. Whoosh!
went Shibl. Zoom! went Faisl. They ran around the big table.
They jumped over the soft rug. They were having so much fun. Giggle giggle! Then, Shibl wanted to fly super high.
He jumped up. He spun around. Swish! But oh no!
His arm bumped the table. Crash! Bang! A sound that was not good.
On the table, there was a pretty blue vase. It was Mom's favorite vase. Now, it was on the floor. It was in many little pieces.
Crash! Shibl stopped running. Faisl stopped running. The room was very quiet.
Shhh. Shibl looked at the floor. His face got hot. His tummy felt funny.
It felt like a little butterfly was flying around in his tummy. He felt scared. 'Oh no,'whispered Shibl. 'I broke the vase.
'Faisl looked at the pieces. He looked at Shibl. 'Mom will be sad,'said Faisl. Shibl looked at the door.
'Maybe we can hide,'said Shibl. 'Maybe we can run outside. 'Faisl shook his head. No no.
'We are Super Honesty Heroes,'said Faisl. 'Heroes do not hide. 'Shibl looked at his blue cape. It was on the floor.
He picked it up. He put it on his shoulders. He took a deep breath. In and out.
'You are right,'said Shibl. 'We must tell the truth. 'Just then, the door opened.
Creak! Mom walked into the room. She looked at the boys. She saw the broken vase on the floor.
Her eyes went wide. 'Oh my,'she said. She did not look angry. She looked surprised.
'What happened here? 'she asked gently. Shibl felt his heart beat fast. Thump thump.
He wanted to hide behind the big chair. But he remembered his mission. He stood up tall. He looked at Mom's eyes.
'I was playing Super Flying,'said Shibl. 'I jumped too high. My arm hit the vase. Crash!
I broke it. I am sorry. 'Mom looked at Shibl. Then she smiled a warm smile.
It was a nice smile. 'Thank you for telling me, Shibl,'she said. 'That was very brave. 'Shibl felt happy inside.
The butterfly in his tummy went away. He felt light. Faisl smiled too. 'Heroes always tell the truth,'said Faisl.
'Yes,'said Mom. 'The vase is broken. But your honesty is safe. That is more important than a vase.
'Mom got the broom. Swish swish. She cleaned up the pieces. Shibl and Faisl helped.
They picked up the big pieces. Together, they cleaned the floor. Then, Mom gave them a big hug.
Squeeze! It was the best hug ever. 'I am proud of my Super Honesty Heroes,'she said. That night, Shibl and Faisl had warm milk and cookies.
Yum! They felt good. They knew that telling the truth makes you feel happy and strong. Can you make a super hero pose?
Put your hands on your hips! Up, up, and away! The end.
