Story scene 1
Scene 1: Once's moment

Once upon a time, in a sunny park with green grass and big blue sky, Scout leader Nadia gathered her troop of happy kids. There were five friends: Mia with curly hair, Ben with freckles, Zoe with a red hat, Leo with a big smile, and little Ava who loved to giggle."Today," said Nadia with twinkling eyes,"we will find the Magical Courage Compass!" The kids gasped."Whoosh!" went the wind."But where is it?" asked Ben, looking all around."We must work together to find it," Nadia said gently."Teamwork makes magic happen!" The troop held hands in a circle. They felt excited.

Their hearts went "thump-thump-thump." First, they tip-toed through the tickly grass."Swish-swish!" went their feet.

They saw a shiny red ladybug."Hello, little bug," whispered Ava. The ladybug flew up-up-up and pointed with tiny wings."Follow the ladybug!" shouted Zoe. They all ran together."Pit-pat-pit-pat!" went their shoes.

Next, they reached a wiggly stream. The water went "splash-splash!" Mia felt scared."The water is too splashy!" she said."We help each other," said Nadia kindly. Ben held Mia's hand. Leo held Ben's hand.

All the kids made a line."Step by step, friend by friend," they sang together. They crossed the stream safely! Everyone clapped."Yay!" Then they found a tall, tall hill. The hill went all the way up to the fluffy clouds. Little Ava looked up, up, up."It's so big," she whispered. Her eyes were wide."Can we do it?" asked Leo."Yes, we can!" everyone said together. They started climbing."Up-up-up!" they chanted. Ava's legs felt tired."I need help," she said softly."We are a team," said Nadia.

Ben gave Ava his special water bottle. Zoe told funny jokes to make Ava laugh."Ha-ha-ha!" giggled Ava.

Step by step, up they went. At the top of the hill, they saw something glowing. It was the Magical Courage Compass! It was round and gold and sparkly."Wow!" said all the kids at the same time. But oh no! A tiny bunny was stuck under a rock.

The bunny's nose wiggled. Its eyes looked sad."Help me," squeaked the bunny softly. The compass needed all the kids to help the bunny first."Teamwork time!" said Nadia."One, two, three, push!" counted the kids.

They pushed the rock together."Heave-ho! Heave-ho!" The rock moved just a little bit.

The bunny hopped out!"Hooray!" cheered everyone. The bunny wiggled its fluffy tail and hopped away happy.

The compass glowed brighter and brighter. Nadia picked it up gently."The compass gives courage to everyone who works together," she said."Watch!" She gave each child a tiny sparkle from the compass. The sparkles felt warm like a hug. Suddenly, Mia wasn't scared of water anymore.

Ben felt strong. Zoe felt clever. Leo felt kind. Ava felt brave."The magic is inside us now!" said Nadia."Every time we help each other, the magic grows!" The troop danced in a circle."We did it! We did it!" they sang. The compass made pretty colors in the sky: pink, purple, and gold swirls."Oooooh!" said the kids. As the sun started to yawn and turn orange, the troop walked back down the hill together. They helped each other on the way.

They shared snacks. They told the bunny story again and again. At the bottom of the hill, Nadia said,"The real magic was not the compass. The real magic was us working together!" The kids hugged each other tight. They felt warm and happy inside. The compass sparkled one more time and whispered,"Thank you for being a team." That night, the five friends went home with big smiles.

They knew they could do anything if they helped each other. And the Courage Compass? It stayed in the troop's hearts forever, glowing with friendship magic. Can you remember the magic words?

Teamwork makes magic happen! Whoosh!
