Mia was a Video Star. She felt happy when people watched her. But one day, Mia sat on her soft bed. She looked at her tablet.
Tap, tap, tap. She did not know what to do. She wanted to make a new video, but her ideas were hiding. Where did they go?

Who was it? It was Sam! Sam was Mia's best friend. Sam did not have a tablet.
Sam had a big box of colorful things. 'Mia, come outside! 'Sam said with a big smile. 'Let's play!
'Mia looked at her tablet. Then she looked at Sam. 'But I have to make a video,'Mia said softly. Sam shook his head.
'You can make a video later. Let's make a mess now! 'Sam held up the box. Inside, there were bright crayons, squishy clay, and shiny paper.
Mia put her tablet down. She stood up. Okay, she thought. Let's go.
They walked out the door. The sun was shining down. It felt warm on their faces. The birds were singing.
Tweet, tweet, tweet! What a lovely sound. They sat on the green grass. Sam opened the box of colors.
'Let's build a castle! 'Sam said. 'A big castle! 'Mia picked up a piece of red paper.
She crumpled it up. Crunch, crunch, crunch. It looked like a red rock. She put it on the grass.
Then Sam put a blue box next to it. 'This is the door,'Sam said. Mia found some yellow clay. She rolled it on the ground.
Roll, roll, roll. It became a long snake. 'This is the guard,'Mia said. She put the clay snake on top of the blue box.
The guard was watching the castle. They worked for a long time. They found sticks and leaves. They found pretty flowers.
Whoosh! The wind blew the flowers around. They put the flowers on the castle walls. Now the castle was beautiful.
It was red and blue and yellow. It had leaves and flowers. Mia looked at the castle. Then she looked at Sam.
Sam had green paint on his nose. Mia started to laugh. Hee, hee, hee! Sam looked at Mia.
Mia had pink clay in her hair! Sam started to laugh too. Ha, ha, ha! They laughed together.
It was the best sound. Suddenly, Mia had an idea. A big, magical idea! 'Wait here!
'she said. She ran inside and got her tablet. Click! She took a picture of Sam and the castle.
Then she took a picture of the clay snake. Then she sat down next to Sam. She did not make a video of herself dancing. She showed Sam the picture.
'Look,'Mia said. 'We made this together. 'Sam smiled. 'It is better than a video,'Sam said.
Mia nodded. Yes, it was. The video was just on the screen. But the castle was real.
The fun was real. The friendship was real. The sun started to go down. The sky turned orange and purple.
It was time to go inside. 'Can we build a rocket ship tomorrow? 'Mia asked. 'Yes!
'said Sam. 'A big, fast rocket ship! 'Zoom! Mia felt happy in her heart.
