Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Jowairyah. Jowairyah loved the water. She loved the blue sky. She loved the splashy waves.
One sunny morning, Jowairyah put on her pink swimsuit. She put on her special goggles. Zoom! She ran to the beach.
The sand was warm and soft. Whoosh! The water tickled her toes. Jowairyah took a big breath.
Splash! She jumped into the ocean. Down, down, down she went. The water was cool and quiet.
Jowairyah was a deep-sea explorer. She looked left. She looked right. She saw green seaweed waving hello.
She saw orange fish swimming fast. Swish, swish, swish went the fish. Jowairyah swam deeper. It was getting darker.
But Jowairyah was brave. She saw a big purple rock. No, it was not a rock. It was a big, sleeping whale!
The whale opened one giant eye. Jowairyah waved her hand. The whale made a happy sound. Bloop!
The whale blew bubbles. Jowairyah swam on. She saw something shiny in the sand. It was a beautiful shell.
It sparkled like the stars. Jowairyah picked it up. Suddenly, she heard a tiny cry.
Weep, weep, weep. Jowairyah looked around. Can you guess what she saw? She saw a little crab.
The crab was sad. The crab had no shell. The crab was soft and scared. Jowairyah felt sad too.
She wanted to help. She looked at the sparkly shell in her hand. She looked at the little crab. Jowairyah smiled.
She gave the shell to the crab. The crab crawled inside. Click, clack, click. It fit perfectly!
The crab was safe now. The crab did a happy dance. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. The crab was Jowairyah's friend.
The crab pinched her finger gently. It was a crab kiss. Jowairyah giggled. Then, a big shadow came over them.
Jowairyah felt scared. Her heart went thump, thump. But the little crab waved its claw. Do not be scared, the crab said.
The shadow was a big sea turtle. The turtle was old and wise. He smiled at Jowairyah. He swam slowly.
Come with me, the turtle said. Jowairyah held onto the turtle's shell. The little crab came too. They swam through a coral garden.
It was so beautiful. There were pink corals. There were blue corals. There were yellow corals.
Jowairyah saw starfish on the sand. They were red and bumpy. She saw jellyfish floating by. They were like glowing lights in the dark.
Jowairyah felt so happy. She was on a big adventure with her friends. The turtle took them to a secret cave. Inside the cave, there were a hundred sparkly shells.
They twinkled like diamonds. Jowairyah clapped her hands. It was magical. She played with the fish.
She played with the crab. She played with the turtle. They played hide and seek. One, two, three!
Jowairyah hid behind a big rock. Peek-a-boo! The crab found her. It was time to go home.
Jowairyah gave her friends a big wave. Bye bye, crab! Bye bye, turtle! She kicked her legs hard.
Up, up, up she went. Pop! Her head came out of the water. The sun was still shining.
The birds were singing. Jowairyah took off her goggles. She was dry again in her bed. Was it a dream?
She looked in her hand. There was a tiny sparkle on her finger. It was sand from the magical ocean. Jowairyah smiled.
She knew she had real friends under the sea. She closed her eyes and went to sleep. Goodnight, Jowairyah. Goodnight, ocean friends.
