Scene 1: Once's moment

Once upon a time, in a cozy yellow house with purple flowers, lived two best friends named Ava and Noah."Let's explore the attic!" says Ava with big sparkly eyes."Yes yes!" says Noah, bouncing like a bunny."Maybe we will find treasure!" They climb the creaky wooden steps. Creeeeak!

Creeeeak! The attic smells like cookies and old paper. Ava sees a dusty red box in the corner."Look Noah!

What is this?" Noah wipes the dust away. Puff! Puff!

Dust goes everywhere. On the box, it says "TIME CAPSULE - OPEN WITH LOVE." "A time capsule!" whispers Ava."What's inside?" They open the box together. Squeeeak! Inside is a tiny blue diary with gold stars.

A note says: "This diary belonged to Great-Grandma Rose when she was little like you." "Great-Grandma's diary!" says Noah."Let's read it!" They open the diary. Whoosh! A soft golden light swirls around them. The attic starts to spin.

Round and round! The light feels warm like sunshine. Suddenly, they are not in the attic anymore.

They are in a garden with the biggest sunflowers ever. The flowers are taller than Noah!"Where are we?" asks Ava, holding Noah's hand.

A little girl with curly brown hair runs up to them. She wears a blue dress with white buttons."Hello! I'm Rose!

Want to play?" Ava and Noah look at each other."Great-Grandma Rose?" they say together."Yes! That's me!" says little Rose."Come see my secret fort!" They follow Rose between the giant sunflowers. Swish! Swish! The leaves tickle their arms.

Rose's fort is made of blankets and chairs. Inside, there are drawings on the walls. Pictures of cats wearing crowns and dogs flying airplanes!"I draw my dreams here," says Rose."What do you like to do?" "I love painting rainbows," says Ava."I build tall towers with blocks!" says Noah."Perfect!" says Rose."Let's make something together!" They paint a big picture.

Swish goes the paintbrush! Drip drop go the colors! They make a purple dragon eating strawberry ice cream."This is the best day ever!" says Rose."I'm going to put something special in my time capsule to remember this." She takes out a shiny silver button."This was from Mommy's favorite coat.

I want to save it forever." Rose puts the button in a tiny wooden box. She writes in her diary: "Today I played with new friends and painted a happy dragon. I will never forget this day." Suddenly, the golden light comes back. Whoosh! The garden spins. Round and round!

Ava and Noah are back in the attic. The diary is still open in their hands."Did that really happen?" asks Noah, eyes wide.

They look in the time capsule. There is the tiny wooden box! Inside is the shiny silver button, just like Rose said."It was real!" whispers Ava."We met Great-Grandma when she was little!" They hear footsteps. Grandma is coming up the stairs."What are you two doing up here?" "Grandma!" says Ava."We found Great-Grandma's diary!" Grandma's eyes get watery."Oh my! I haven't seen that in years. Mother loved that diary." "She was so nice!" says Noah."She played with us in her garden!" Grandma smiles."She always had the best imagination. She told me stories about magical friends too." Ava and Noah look at each other. They know it wasn't just imagination.

It was real magic!"Grandma," says Ava,"can we add something to the time capsule?" "Of course! Great-Grandma would love that." Ava puts in her favorite purple crayon."For painting more dragons," she says. Noah adds his lucky marble with a red swirl."For sharing with new friends," he says.

Grandma writes a note: "Today, Ava and Noah visited Rose through her diary. They played and laughed and created memories. Love never ends." They close the time capsule.

Click!"Let's open it again tomorrow!" says Noah."But first," says Grandma,"who wants cookies and milk?" "Me me me!" say Ava and Noah together. As they eat warm chocolate chip cookies, Ava asks,"Do you think other kids will find the diary one day?" Grandma nods."I think Great-Grandma's magic will keep working. Her love is in every page." That night, Ava and Noah tell their parents everything. Mommy and Daddy smile and hug them tight."Great-Grandma's love is like a magical bridge," says Mommy."It connects all of us together." Before bed, Ava and Noah look at the stars outside their window. Twinkle twinkle!

One star looks extra bright."I think that's Great-Grandma watching us," whispers Ava."She's probably painting more dragons right now," giggles Noah. The next day, they run to the attic again.

The time capsule is still there. But guess what? On top is a new note in Rose's handwriting: "Thank you for playing with me. Come back anytime!

Love, Rose." Ava and Noah smile big smiles. They know they have the best great-grandma ever. And they know that love and memories can travel through time, just like magic.

Whenever they miss Great-Grandma, they open her diary. Whoosh! The golden light comes, and there she is, ready to play. And they all lived happily ever after, across all the years, connected by love and a magical time capsule.

The end!
